Democrat enters race for Lubbock County Judge

A Democrat has entered the race for Lubbock County Judge. Lubbock native Austin Carrizales said it is time to stop playing catch-up with vital services like law enforcement and road maintenance.

At least he went to law school. Tom Head is a former cop. I'd rather have someone who actually went to law school than a lunatic cop who believes the UN is going to invade Lubbock. County Judges do not have to be attorneys because they are more of administrators than judges. Really, I just want Tom head to go. Anybody is better than he is.

How does Mr. Carrizales, who failed the bar examination by the way, intend to use a judicial office to get the community involved? Based on his platform I'd say he should run for a local legislative body and not a judicial position. But then again, who are we kidding? A Democrat isn't about to get elected in Lubbock.
