Man behind bars for manufacturing counterfeit money

Lubbock Federal Judge, Sam Cummings, sent an admitted counterfeiter to prison for 41 months. 29- year-old Harley Graves of Lubbock, plead guilty in August 2012 to one count of conspiracy to manufacture, possess and pass counterfeit U.S. currency.

In addition, Graves was ordered to pay $4,600 restitution with his two convicted co-defendants, 36-year-old Thomas Vasquez and 50-year-old Augustine Moreno.

Investigators said Graves produced the fake bills in his hotel room.

Be careful when telling people how much money you "made" last year. Tell them how much you "earned" instead.
