A violent wreck on the Clovis highway sent four people to the hospital. It happened near North County Road 1700 around 6:30 p.m.
DPS Corporal John Gonzalez said a northbound pickup truck pulled into the intersection in front of an eastbound van. The vehicles collided and the pickup overturned.
The pickup driver who suffered critical injuries was airlifted to the hospital.
The three occupants from the van were transported the hospital with injuries we are told are not life threatening.
