There may be more brown in the skies over Lubbock soon and we do not mean dust storms. Lubbock's Airport Advisory Board is recommending City Council approve an airport use agreement with United Parcel Service that could begin next month.
The company would pay the city for apron space and landing fees amounting to more than $100,000 a year.
A vote on finalizing the deal expected to be on the City Council agenda on January 31.
