The Lubbock County grand jury indicted a suspected drunk driver involved in a fatal crash last month.

Scott Folkerts, 29, was charged with manslaughter. According to an LPD investigator's report, Folkerts' vehicle was traveling at 133 miles per hour when it spun out of control and struck the back of a jeep on 82nd Street near Slide Road on April 20. The jeep then smashed into a utility pole.

Folkerts' passenger, 36-year-old Drew Baize, died at the scene. The two women in the jeep, 25-year-old Keeley Harcrow and 24-year-old Ashley Pendergast, were hospitalized for a short time.
