School of Rock is all about helping kids rock on stage, and in life.

To celebrate the end of a jammin' season, Lubbock's School of Rock is kicking off their largest concert yet.

Owner, Amber Beadles, said eight SoR bands will perform. Musicians range from age 5 to 18.

Many types of rock will be played, from a "Tribute to the Cow Bell" and "Zeppelin" to Christian Rock and Classic Rock.

The concert is happening on Sunday, January 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at TNT Sports Grill at 50th and I-27.

Ages 18 and under are free, tickets are 10 dollars for spectators over 18 years.

That money will be used to fund School of Rock scholarships.
