While the weather is always a variable, the Federal Aviation Administration's Instrument Landing System should not be a problem for airline flights coming into Lubbock over the holiday weekend.

The ILS is back up and running after signal interference problems were reported December 12th. FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Cory says technicians are still looking for the source of that interference. She says a mechanical problem that affected the system Monday has also been fixed.
