Making end-of-life care a little easier for patients of all ages and their families is what Hospice of Lubbock is all about.
This time of year is especially important as the organization celebrates its "Light Up a Life," campaign through December 23rd.
The fundraiser includes a special tree lighting ceremony Wednesday at Haverty's at 6 p.m. It will include music, lighting of the tree, a proclamation from Mayor Glenn Robertson and a reception. The public is invited to attend.
Traditional angel ornaments can also be purchased by the public at the South Plains Mall, the location of the second tree. The ornaments are being sold for $25 donation that goes to supporting the cause.
