The Doubles for Diabetes tournament took place on Saturday. The event raises money for those fighting diabetes.

In it's third year, 104 players signed up to compete in the fund raising event.

Groups include men's, women's and mixed doubles, including a youth division this year. Items such as tennis rackets and shirts were raffled.

All proceeds will go to the American Diabetes Association.

"I have a personal interest in it like a lot of the players here and some of the members of the committe," said committee member Rick Kissinger. "My daughter was diagnosed with diabetes when she was two and she's now 16 and healthy. it's a lot of work and it changes your life a lot and we're just hoping there's a cure some day."

There was a three hour weather delay, extending the tournament until the evening. A few games will conclude Sunday.
