Six people have been arrested after a weekend confrontation, during which an LPD officer got hit with a chair.
Officers responded to a fight at La Kumbia nightclub 1 am Saturday. Suspect Alexandra Lovington is accused of bashing officer Karen Findley in the head during the altercation.
Findley's injuries are minor, but the charges against Lovington of the major variety, including aggravated assault on a police officer.
A conviction on that charge can send her to prison for a considerable amount of time.
