Mothers Against Drunk Driving were walking like MADD to make a statement this weekend. The 2nd annual 5k raises money for the victims services division of MADD.
The funds go toward grief counseling, support groups and assists in the criminal justice process.
There was a real crashed vehicle on display, a result from a drunk driving accident.
"The Lindsey family were driving in Seminole and a drunk driver ran into their car and killed their three children," said Dawn Beven, Victims Services Coordinator. "And they donated their vehicle. And we made the trailor on display so that people can see their story and see how real drunk driving is."
Every day in America, another 27 people die as a result of drunk driving crashes.
