Friends and family of a missing woman are encouraging the public to attend a prayer walk and candlelight vigil on Sunday.

The event will take place at the First Assembly of God church, located at 98th and Memphis at 8:30 p.m.

It has been 4 months since Maegan Hembree went missing.

She was last seen at her home near Smyer on February 26 before heading to a friends home in Lubbock.

The Hockley County sheriff reported Hembree's car was found a couple of weeks after she went missing at an apartment in west Lubbock.

Hembree is about 4'11 and weighs about 120 pounds. She has dark blonde hair and tattoos on her left shoulder and lower left leg.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hockley County Sheriff's office at (806) 894-3126.
