There is a follow-up on plans to deactivate Border Patrol Offices in Lubbock and five other Texas cities beginning in six months.Congressman Randy Neugebauer joined with colleagues Mac Thornberry and Mike Conaway sent a letter to Border Patrol Chief Michael Fisher asking him to reconsider or delay closing those stations.
The letter also expressed concern that the border patrol has not coordinated with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to develop a plan to help local law enforcement after the closures.
