Testimony continued Wednesday in the sentencing hearing for a defendant who caused a drunk driving crash that killed a bicyclist last year.

Benito Capellan, 24, pleaded guilty to intoxication manslaughter Tuesday. Cappellan's pickup truck struck a bicycle from behind, ridden by 32-year-old Britta Schneider. The collision happened in the 3600 block of 4th Street.

A professional counselor told the jury Capellan has shown remorse, volunteered with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and worked to start a Safe Ride program in Arlington.
