Look Around Lubbock: International Arts on the Slaton Square

You can take a tour of the world with a trip to Slaton.

International Arts on the Slaton Square is a show that features work in many forms.

Eight galleries and museums will be displaying jewelry, painting, doll art, mixed media, sculpture, photography and poetry.

The artists showing their work represent 15 different countries around the world including Australia, China, England, Iran, Nigeria, Russia and Turkey.

One of the featured artists, Adewale Adenle, is displaying his wooden mixed media pieces inspired by his childhood in Nigeria.

The art show will take place Saturday, March 2nd at the Slaton Square from 4:00pm - 9:00pm.
