American Cancer Society celebrates 100th birthday

The American Cancer Society turned 100 on Wednesday. 

A hundred years ago, the organization began the fight against the disease and has made great strides in cure rates. Lubbock's chapter had a celebration at its office. The non-profit is made up of three million volunteers nationwide. 

Two out of three people diagnosed with cancer survive the disease.
