Dramatic images of the massive explosion are seared in the collective psyche in the city of West, a town struggling to bounce back from a horrifying and deadly blast.

Sunday was the first day for the faithful to gather for worship services since Sunday's explosion. Among the 14 people killed were 10 first responders.

One man in the congregation was left inconsolable by his grief. It's a city literally shattered from a blast that could be heard 50 miles away.

Investigators say they've pinpointed where the blast originated, the impact damaged or destroyed dozens of homes and businesses. It left hundreds of people homeless and in need of help.

City leaders allowed some residents to return to their homes over the weekend, but they still face strict curfews. Fire officials will hold a memorial service at Baylor University Thursday in honor of the volunteer firefighters who died.
