"White River Municipal Water District has been in contact with the City of Post in regards to the complaints of taste and odor. At this time we are working diligently to try and narrow down the source of the taste and odor, we believe it to be partially attributed to the influx of water from the recent rise in the lake from the rains. White River is in the process of setting up a routine maintenance run on our pipelines and facilities to help try and alleviate some of the taste and odor complaints. White River Municipal Water District is committed to providing the best potable and palatable water that we can and we will work tirelessly to try and alleviate the concerns over the taste and odor problems." -Shane Jones, General Manager, White River MWD.

"We are aware of the complaints that our water has an odor and an unpleasant taste.  The city’s main water supply comes from White Rive Lake. We have been in contact with them and they believe that this is due to the recent rise in the lake level.  White River is working diligently to get this resolved." -Deana Watson, City Manager, City of Post.
