UPDATE: Escaped inmate Randy Williams back in custody

More than 48 hours after a Lubbock County inmate ditched his work duty and escaped. He's back in custody, but not in the Lubbock County Detention Center.
Randy Allen Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Clovis, New Mexico. He was captured at a junk yard in Clovis, He'll be arraigned sometime next week.
Williams will have to go through the extradition process before he's brought back to Lubbock County.
Sheriff Kelly Rowe said Allen was working inside the jail garage downtown when he started a fire to distract officers, and stole a city truck to make his great escape.
Williams is facing felony charges of escape, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and a potential arson charge.
