The Texas Department of Transportation will resume work Sunday evening on a project to widen West 4th Street in Lubbock.
Work on the project, which will affect the area of 4th Street from Frankford Avenue to Upland Avenue, will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 6 a.m.
The milling and repaving of the intersection is anticipated to take several days to complete, according to project contractor Allen Butler, Inc. of Ransom Canyon.
The 4th Street traffic speed limit will remain 45 mph during construction, TxDOT said.
Drivers should use caution through the work zone, as crews will be working in close proximity to traffic.
