Lubbockites can get excited about one athletic standout who's planning a visit to the Hub City.
Trinity Christian School holds an annual fundraiser, and this year they're setting the bar high with featuring football super star Tim Tebow.
People were lined up outside Cardinals Sport Center today, two hours before they even opened the doors to sell 500 tickets for the "Tim Tebow Talks Faith" event. This was a pre-sale before the regularly scheduled release for the tickets. Trinity Christian School representatives were at Cardinals selling tickets. One school representative, Tamara Kirkpatrick, said it's a blessing to have the famous football player coming to Lubbock.
"we just rolled the dice and called his agent, made our proposal, signed a contract, and he's coming. Since that moment of course, he's just continued to escalate, in his career, in his amazing choices, in his love for the Lord," Kirkpatrick said.
Tickets are $150 to attend the dinner and presentation that will be on March 1st.
