Texas Tech Law School alumnus named District Attorney

A Texas Tech and Tech Law School alumnus has been named District Attorney for Borden and Scurry Counties.

Governor Rick Perry appointed Ben Smith of Snyder to the position.
Smith's term will expire at the next general election.

Smith has been serving as a Borden County attorney and Assistant DA for the 132nd Judicial District.
