Texas Tech names former regent as vice chancellor and general counsel

A former Texas Tech regent was hired as vice chancellor and general counsel for the university system.

Attorney John Huffaker resigned from the board last month. He will begin his new job Monday.

Huffaker succeeds Pat Campbell, who has had a 30-year career in legal work at Texas Tech.
