Three Texas Tech professors have been selected co-editors of a major financial journal.
Professors Drew Winters, Jeff Mercer and Scott Hein are in the business college.
The quartely Journal of Financial Research is devoted to the publication of scholarly research in finance.
It's distributed among most colleges and universities in the United States.
Winters said that the Journal of Financial Research is among a set of the top 15 finance journals, and is generally recognized as being among the highest quality academic finance journals.
