A former Lubbock pastor is on trial for indecency with a child.
The stepfather of the accuser testified Wednesday about confronting Terry Nesmith with allegations, reported to police in 2006.
The witness said while looking for a church to hold his adult stepdaughter's wedding, the stepdaughter revealed details of how Nesmith had inappropriate contact with her when she was a child.
The witness says when he confronted the pastor at the church, Nesmith denied wrongdoing, then apologized, cried and fell to his knees.
Testimony resumes Thursday morning.
