Texas Tech's College of Engineering lands on a list of the nation's best.
U S News and World Report lists Tech's undergraduate program tied for 78th among the top engineering schools in the country.
The rankings are based solely on peer assessments.
In the spring, the magazine's graduate issue recognized several of Tech's graduate courses of study as well, and gave the graduate program an overall ranking of 99th among 198 nationwide.
