A landlord and tenant had their rent house lawn stolen last Thursday. The tenant got home from work to a yard full of dirt, and not a clue as to who removed the lawn or why.

Good news from the homeowner, it turns out a landscaping company removed it because it had the wrong address. The owner of the company has taken full responsibility and promises to fix the yard.

Homeowner Donna Luckie is grateful the landscaper came forward and has been so professional about the mistake.

"People make mistakes. I make them, you make them, we all make mistakes." Luckie said. "It's just a great world when people fess up to the mistakes and make it right. And that doesn't always happen, but it did happen at this time."

Not only is the landscaper replacing the grass, the company will also cover extra costs, like the water bill, to get the new lawn established.
