The Seagraves community issued a boil water notice and a plea to conserve water Friday.
Repairs are underway on the municipal water system causing a drop in pressure that will continue into next week.
Water must be brought to a vigorous boil for two minutes before it's used for drinking, cooking, or making ice.
For dishwashing, the city recommends using a tablespoon of bleach per gallon of water.
Seagraves residents and businesses are also urged to conserve city water as much as possible.
