You've probably already seen a few Salvation Army volunteers around Lubbock. Each holiday season more than 25,000 of them fan out across the nation to ring bells and solicit spare change to the iconic red kettles.

The Dallas Cowboys have long partnered with the organization to raise awareness. During the Thanksgiving Day game this will be highlighted in a special way.

We spoke with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Charlotte Jones Anderson with the Cowboys organization, and Salvation Army Commissioner William Roberts. Click the linked video to watch.

You can watch the Cowboys-Redskins game at 3 on FOX 34. The Red Raiders also play at Cowboys Stadium this week, facing Baylor Saturday. That game kicks at 1:30 Saturday afternoon. It's also on FOX 34. You can also listen to both games on Double T 104.3.
