A trust fund administrator from Lubbock pleads guilty in federal court to one count of tax evasion.

Randy Lynn White admitted he did not file income tax returns for 2007, 2008, and 2009.

White was the trustee of the Frank F. McMordie Junior Family Trust, which includes a large ranch in the panhandle with mineral interests.

White confessed that he paid himself excessive administrative fees and spent trust fund money to buy luxury items like jewelry and cars.

He is free on bond while awaiting sentencing.

The maximum penalty is five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
