Tuesday is the last day for early voting in the runoff for City Council District 4.It is between incumbent Paul Beane and challenger Jim Gerlt, pastor at Bacon Heights Baptist Church.
In the May 12th election they eliminated the third candidate in the race, Dwight Fullingham, but couldn't secure the 50 percent plus one needed to win outright. Beane got 46 percent of the vote to Gerlt's 42 percent.
Only residents of District 4 can vote in the runoff.
Early voting locations are as follows:
-Market Street at 98th Street and Quaker Avenue
-United Supermarket at 82nd Street and Boston Avenue
-Lubbock City Hall
