One of the most pressing issues for President Obama and the lame duck congress is the crushing debt and deficit.  There are many challenges ahead, and we spoke to congressman Randy Neugebauer about the approaching deadline.

"If everybody came back to say okay, we need to, lets roll up our sleeves and go to work, I think we can get that work done.  If people came back to say you know it's going to be the same old same old then, you know, I'm not very optimistic."

He also says he hopes the President and the Senate will be serious about starting to work with the republicans to try and get things moving.
