Motorcyclist involved in Wednesday crash remains critical

A motorcyclist involved in a collision Wednesday in the 2300 block of North Frankford Avenue remains in critical condition at University Medical Center.

Police say 27-year-old Kyle Andrew Farris was riding northbound near Erskine Street when he moved to the right shoulder, slowed down, and began to make a u-turn.

According to police, Farris was crossing in front of a northbound SUV when he was struck broadside. He was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained head and chest injuries.

The driver of the SUV, 74-year-old Annette Barnes Turner, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
