A Tuesday benefit will assist the family of a Lubbock teenager who was killed in a freak accident on June 20th.

Chili's Grill and Bar at 607 University Avenue is hosting a Give Back event from 11:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. in support of the Miguel Martinez Memorial Fund.

The 14-year-old died while playing hide-and-seek in front of Texas Tech's Ranching Heritage Center. He was impaled by one of the steer statues.

The Chili's location across from the campus will donate ten percent of food sales to the fund if you submit a give back flyer when you pay the bill. The flyer, which is attached to the headline of this story, is required for the donation to be credited from the sale.
