Three people are hospitalized in critical condition after a head-on collision in southeast Lubbock Sunday night.
It happened near the intersection of the Slaton Highway and Loop 289. Police say a truck in the wrong lane headed toward a car; when the two swerved to miss each other they met head-on in the median.
Aerocare was called in to transport the pickup driver to UMC. The other two injured people were in the car.
