Another West Nile virus case confirmed in the city of Lubbock.
Public Health Coordinator Beckie Brawley said the patient is a woman over the age of fifty, diagnosed with the more serious neuro-invasive form.
We were told the patient had traveled outside of Lubbock County in the two weeks prior to the onset of the illness.
This makes a total of four West Nile cases confirmed in the city of Lubbock. It is the ninth confirmed within Lubbock County.
