SWAT team called out to assist in Lubbock standoff

Area lawmen were called out to assist in a standoff Friday night.

DPS reports around 4:30pm, officers tried to serve a warrant on 27 year old Clayton Keen at 83rd Street and Avenue D.

The male and another man holed up in the residence.

The Lubbock County SWAT Team was called in, they used pepper spray used to flush both men out of the residence. One of the men was found hiding in the trunk of a vehicle.

Keen and the other man were both taken into custody.

According to lawmen, the original warrant for Keen, was possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. His bond for the 2nd degree felony has been set at $20,000 dollars.
