Romney to make policy announcement in Hobbs

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is expected to make a policy announcement during an upcoming visit to southeastern New Mexico.

The presumptive nominee is scheduled to be in Hobbs Thursday.

Romney told Texas donors Tuesday he would use the stop to announce a "comprehensive energy plan" focused on fossil-based fuels. Romney is scheduled to attend a fundraising luncheon following his announcement.
