Professional rodeo competitors will be busy roping, riding, wrestling and racing at the 71st ABC Pro Rodeo.

The action-packed event includes saddle bronc, bareback, steer wrestling, calf roping, team roping, barrel racing, muttin bustin and bull riding.

David Sanchez, Chairman for the the 2013 ABC Pro Rodeo, said this is one of the only professional rodeos where competitors pay an entry fee to compete.

That's because proceeds of this event benefit the Lubbock Boys and Girls Clubs.

Sanchez said it's a great bang for your buck. Not only are you getting a live performance with your ticket purchase but you're also helping a great cause.
