A Lubbock man has been sentenced to life in prison after he pleads guilty to indecency with a child. Prosecutors said 44-year-old Martin Villarreal offered candy to a young boy to entice him to get into his car in April of last year.“We found evidence that he had been a predator, been at baseball parks, other facilities within Lubbock County searching for young boys,” said, Assistant District Attorney, Jennifer Bassett. “We found a great deal of evidence on items that belonged to the defendant that led us to other victims.”
Villarreal could be eligible for parole in 40 years.
