Speed, not the weather, was cited as a factor for a fatal crash in level land Thursday night. 29-year-old Christian Saenz died at a hospital after his SUV rear-ended a pickup truck in the 24 hundred block of Highway 114. The impact sent the pickup into a broadside skid where it hit a utility pole then rolled three times. The pickup's driver Jacob Edward Houk and passenger, Morgan Masters, suffered only non-life threatening injuries.
