A former ESPN commentator-turned-senate candidate will have to wait to find out if his lawyers can depose the publishers of two books about former Tech Head Football Coach Mike Leach. Craig James' attorneys are exploring a potential defamation claim based on statements in Leach's book called "Swing Your Sword" and "Double T- Double Cross" by Michael Lee Lanning.Attorneys for the publishers Scottsdale Books and Diversion Publishing argued that the petition has no merit, and that the Collin County Court does not have jurisdiction anyway, because the companies are based in New York and Arizona. The judge will let them make their arguments on March 7th.
