Many gathered at Jones AT&T stadium for the fundraising event 'Walk MS' on Saturday. The event helps bring awareness and support those battling MS.
MS affects the central nervous system and can cause temporary blindness and numbing throughout the body. Lyndee Groce said the support for the disease was overwhelming.
"I love seeing people come out here and supporting their friends and family who have MS, even if they're not able to be here," Groce said. "They're still here and you can tell the love that they have for their loved ones and they want to stop MS just as much as I do."
Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50, with atleast two to three times more women being diagnosed.
More than 21,000 Texans battle the disease.
