In anticipation of next month's Lemonade Day, Betenbough Homes hosted "Lemonpalooza", where they taught budding lemonade vendors what it will take to earn a sweet return.

The prospective peddlers were squeezing in all the business strategy they can before May 4th.

Bob Betenbough, with Betenbough Homes said the event is all about entrepreneurship.

"It's about helping them to make a budget. Gather the ingredients. Make a deal with a location, and sometimes they borrow money from a bank or from an investor," Betenbough said. "We ask that they pay it back and that they'll register so we know where their stand is."

Betenbough said he encourages all young entrepreneurs to spend some of the money on something they want, save a little and share some with a local charity.

T-shirts were also handed out. Registration began for those interested in having a lemonade stand. Backpacks were given to those who did register at the event.
