A Lubbock man that was found guilty on two counts of aggravated assault was convicted to 99 years in prison for both counts on Friday.
Tyrone Burleson, 36, was sentenced to 99 years for each of those counts.
Burleson wounded Joseph Kemp and threatened 8-year-old Chase Kemp in the parking lot of the game room at 19th Street and Dixie Drive in November 2011.
Assistant District Attorney Stephen Crane says Burleson is a danger to society.
"The reason that this defendant is especially concerning and scary," Crane said, "is because most of the time he comes across as mild mannered and quiet and yet he commits felony after felony."
Burleson will serve those sentences concurrenlty.
He could be eligible for parole in 30 years.
