Lubbock Sheriff deputies and ATF agents bid a final farewell to a special federal agent Friday. Biff the dog, a K-9 Special Agent, solved more than a handful of homicides. Biff also secured nearly every Tech home game, before he retired back in 2006. Biff was one of the first dogs of his kind in the nation.

Sheriff Kelly Rowe said the list is endless of the amount of hours, paw prints and work Biff put in to keep this nation safe.

"This particular K-9 team traveled coast to coast,” Rowe said. “Doing everything from major operations to ensuring to some of the biggest venues in the country some to include presidential inaugurations were safe."

Captain David Turner Biff's handler said he has received many phone calls, and emails from around the world. Biff's passed at age 14 and left a major void in life and in law enforcement.
