He's the author of the "Miracle on the Hudson" after his successful emergency landing of a disabled U.S. air jetliner on the Hudson River, and those in our area get to hear his account first-hand.
Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger will be the guest speaker for the Lubbock Women's Club Annual Speaker Series January 10 at 7:45 p.m. Sullenberger served as a fighter pilot for the Air Force prior to becoming a commercial pilot.
His speech will be titled "Preparing for Excellence: Leading your Team to Success".
