Lubbock fire crews were able to put out an apartment fire Saturday afternoon. It happened in the 4600 block of 55th Street at the Sunport Condominiums. Most of the fire happened at a walkway between two apartments.
Fire investigators do not believe the fire was electrical, and say it could've been caused by someone dropping a cigarette in between the buildings. Investigators have not made that confirmation.
None of the apartments appear to be a total loss, and no injuries were reported.
