A wheelchair-bound, 91-year-old man was killed while crossing Avenue Q near 50th Street.
Fausto Camacho was leaving the United Supermarket parking lot in his motorized chair when he was struck by a southbound pickup truck. Camacho died at the scene.
According to the police report, the victim failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic.
