A Lubbock man has been upgraded to satisfactory condition after a collision Friday afternoon.
Lubbock police report 35-year old Michael Lamar had just left a Harley Davidson dealership nearby with his new motorcycle when he lost control.
Police report the Lamar jumped the curb and crashed into an SUV parked on an auto dealer's lot in the 5800 block of Frankford Avenue.
Witnesses said Lamar was thrown off of the motorcycle then the vehicles burst into flames.
Lamar reportedly was wearing a helmet, and was not burned in the fire. Police said Lamar had a motorcycle license, but they would not say how long he had had it.
